Hello! My name is
Kiet Lim.

I am a passionate game programmer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Programming from LaSalle College. My fascination with video games began when I was young, inspiring a deep appreciation for the collaborative efforts of the game developers in bringing these digital worlds to life. Through my studies of C++, C# along with game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine, I have developed a mindset in creating video games focusing on both the technical and the creative side.

LIMBS [July 2023 - now]

2D Party/Fighting Multiplayer

Game Programmer - Unity, C#

Limbs is a fighting game where you can only attack by throwing your arms and legs at your foes! Can you fight your way to the top?… Or will you be torn limb from limb?

In this chaotic multiplayer party-game attach, battle and customize your way to victory with a unique arsenal of wacky limbs. Chop, slice and pry your way to the top of the leaderboard and make sure your friends don't get in the way...

Original C++ Engine

Solo Programmer - C++, ImGui

A game engine that focuses on various elements inside the game world such as: Render 3D objects, import 3D models, visual effects, shaders , physics, audio, animation and other features.

The graphic library, visual effects and shaders runs on DirectX11

Physics programmed using a custom math library

Animation for models and objects runs using Key nodes & Animators

All features are controlled using ImGui UI and everything can easily be modified

Temple Raider [January 2021 - March 2021]

First Person Puzzle/Platformer

Game Programmer - C#, Unity

You are stuck inside a jungle temple where everything looks unusual for you. The only two things you can use to escape are your hands to pick up boxes and a grappling hook to maneuver through obstacles in order to escape from this ancient temple.

This game features basic 3D first person movement, a grappling hook mechanic that attaches to the roof which pulls the player towards that point and a pick up mechanic for the boxes where the box turns transparent when picked up by the player.

  • Goblin Guard

    [January 2023 - March 2023] - C#, Unity

    A 2D Tower Defense, Rougelike Shoot' em up game where you are a space ranger on the moon and trying to gather resources to bring back to the base. However, moon goblins are attacking you for stealing their goods and it's your duty to fend them off as long as possible

  • Genesis Unbound

    [July 2023 - September 2023] - C#, Unity

    A visual novel game where you are in a world with advance technology and humanity is in a constant battle with monsters. You will be starting your position at HorizonEdge, a Biomedical Research Facility, where your looks of the world changes forever

  • 200K from lonex Co.

    [January 2023 - March 2023] - Twine, CSS

    You and your team have been hired for your experience together and high success rate by the Ionex Corporation, to release two prisoners from a high-priority prison. The goal is to hijack the train and to extract them before they reach the prison.
